Most people I know think a good stable job with great benefits is the way to go. The risks of this security are more than they realize, especially in light of massive layoffs that leave you alone with job-specific skills and no business network. You advise us to have diverse business relationships and to find serenity in spite of uncertainty in success and failure. This past year, I've experienced how important this advice is.
